October 21, 2024 – Houston, TX – Prismecs, a global leader in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, has been awarded a multi-million euro contract by a leading European energy provider. The contract involves relocating, installing, and commissioning three LM6000 gas turbine units on Crete Island.
This strategic project is part of Greece’s initiative to strengthen the island’s energy infrastructure. It will span nine months and reinforce Prismecs' position as a trusted partner in delivering advanced power generation solutions.
The gas turbines, previously installed in Thiva, are being relocated to support Crete’s growing energy demands, driven by the rapid expansion of the island’s tourism and economic sectors.
